Investigation of Peer Relationships of Gifted and Non-Gifted High School Students

Gifted individuals has an important role in the progress of societies, it would be beneficial to better identify these and understand their needs differences. For that reason, peer relationships gifted non-gifted high school students were examined this study. The study was carried out as survey model. group consisted 156 total, including 60 registered Şahinbey Science Art Center (BILSEM) Gaziantep, 96 who not identified gifted. All same classes those with talented, where secondary education received. In study, “Personal Information Form” “Peer Relationship Scale” developed by Atik, Çok, Çoban Doğan (2014) used data collection tools. According results research, no significant difference observed terms between students, When male are sub-dimensions, is seen there a sub-dimensions “companionship”, “protection” ”and “closeness” favor “gifted students”. There relationship mean scores female students. It can said greater differentiation being 16-18 age group, compared 13-15 group. findings discussed light relevant literature.
